"This year’s regional finalists brought great ideas to the stage, and we see a lot of potential in these projects in solving some of the biggest challenges today across the region. Imagine Cup is just the beginning for many of these budding innovators and entrepreneurs, and we are excited to be part of their journey,” added by Miller.

Team HeartSound from Singapore won the first runner-up where they pitched S3, a smart wearable device combining the function of a stethoscope and an electrocardiography machine. Using a smartphone, it can simply identify objects in the real world.

All three teams will take their journey to the next level at the Imagine Cup World Finals to be held in Seattle, Washington this July. This global competition will gather about 50 more students. All will be vying for the top prize of USD $100,000, mentorship with Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella then Azure to grant winning solution to the market.
