A bountiful weekend at Mandala Park!

11:33:00 PM

MANDALA PARK - conveniently located in the heart of Mandaluyong, formerly Litton & Co., Inc. (Litton) textile plant now called the Liberty Center. A 3.2-hectare mixed-use development became a green paradise which now provides city life access to an eco-friendly community and a sustainable lifestyle.

Litton celebrates the new year with a feast of homegrown food and very good fortune. This January, Mandala Park once again transform its green open spaces to a venue for expertly curated merchants and even more imaginative businesses were added to the roster. Thankfully, the traffic has improved a lot... What a bountiful weekend!

Mandala starts with a well-rounded list of merchants that now include Yakang Yaka Barter which sells handcrafted wallets, bags and shoes.

Truly an excellent place to gorge for mouth watering meat delicacies by D'Famous Imus Longganisa; Bought a kilo, about 18 pieces for P400. Cooking some pasta tomorrow! Yay! Unique mushroom goods also available from the Perfect Mushrooms.

Crowd favorites like Jonas Manila, Mister Delicious and Ribs Manila will still be serving filling meals at the weekend market.

If you're craving for traditional Filipino dishes and comfort food, check out Asiong's Carinderia - famous for iconic Caviteno food while Alavar's Seafood serves fresh seafood sourced straight from the South.

If you love spicy, flavorful food then you got to try Punta, Gostoso Piri Piri and Wrapped Shawarma.

For scrumptious Polish food, mix of European and German traditional style of cooking, so rich in meat, you will love Babci Kuchnia's (translates to 'Grandma's Kitchen) dumplings called pierogis! For something distinctly Japanese and French fusion, visit Le Petit Souffle's

Get refreshed with homegrown brands like Bayani Brew, Stanford & Shaw, Fruit Magic's Pure Nectar line, Pedro Brewcrafters and Out of the Box Bulletproof Coffee.

Now, what kind of weekend is it without a sweet finish?! In Mandala Park, it comes through mainstays Scout's Honor and Fog City Creamery which proudly serves their own signature treats. Good Food Community, in turn serves organic farm food while Trigo PH sells quality baked goods too!

Get the complete holistic experience only at Mandala Park! One-man band Mikko Gozon, AKA Hoochie Coochie delights visitors with his distinct acoustic blues sound. This weekend market is Litton's way of giving back to the community - a great venue to bring people together in celebration of a happy 2016 with good finds, relaxing music and atmosphere with hearty food!
