Health Matters - now on it's Second Season!

28th of May, 2015 at Sugarleaf Makati - According to the Department of Health, cardiovascular diseases, stroke and even cancer still tops the leading causes of death in the Philippines. Even young professionals are more likely to develop the diseases and it only tell us that prevention should start at a younger age. Nowadays, DoH reminds the public to eat healthy and live healthy!

It is always good to be well informed regardless how busy our days are...  For ways to live life to the fullest, healthy living is within reach now that we have Health Matters - making a remarkable changes in Filipino lifestyle! 

Health Matters is a healthy lifestyle program shown weekly on the ABS-CBN News Channel that aims to inform the country by tackling the latest medical issues. Every week, fitness and healthy lifestyle advocate Paolo Abrera invites the viewers to listen to medical consultation with leading medical experts regarding different health concerns. The show also provides different ways to help keep the body and mind fit through proper nutrition and health practices.

From the Press Con last week, Health Matters will bring in more of the good stuff as it takes it to greater heights: we could get more sound advice from medical experts from different countries. Watch out as Health Matters will share best and medical practices from Greece, Japan and more for the latest medical breakthrough.

Catch Health Matters on ANC every Saturdays at 8:00 PM, with replays every Sunday at 11:00 AM.

The program is also set to have its first big event come June 5th as it organized a healthy weekend with a 3-day Natural and Organic Expo at the Filinvest Tent to be concluded with a fun run titled Just for Fun, Join the Run for the benefit of Pedro E. Diaz High School and the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Muntinlupa.

We were also able to enjoy a few healthy options from Sugarleaf. The food are very good if you're trying to eat healthy and think that organic food may contribute to better health...
