Yummy, being Philippines' number 1 food magazine has recently partnered with KitchenAid for a special treat to its faithful readers for a series of (3) Cooking Workshops set to happen this 2015. The first leg was held at the prestigious Enderun Colleges in Bonifacio Global Cit, led by no less than Chef Jackie Ang-Po, a multi-awarded pastry Chef, cooking TV show Host and owner of Fleur De Lys dessert cafe.
It was a pleasure to have met the lovely Chef... not to mention I learned new Recipes but think I have to invest first on KitchenAid essentials to make the food even more delicious and beautiful.
The workshops was obviously an opportunity for avid readers of Yummy to recreate recipes with the help of renowned Filipino chefs plus utilizing KitchenAid kitchenware. Did you know that Registration for the event is free for all Philippine residents, though you have be fast as it's first come first serve basis. Heard they have only allowed (35) readers for the first leg and the same for Part 2 and 3! Hope we can cook together soon... ;)
During the workshop, participants were paired up with selected top Philippine food bloggers and each pair had the chance to create their own version of the Triple Chocolate Parfait at specially equipped KitchenAid Stations that were purposely set up for the event.
One KitchenAid Hand Mixer was raffled off for the best photo uploaded on Instagram with the official hashtag #YummyKitchenAidEasyRecipes
Using various KitchenAid products, Chef Jackie walked the participants through the processes of creating (3) delectable recipes -
Grilled Watermelon and Mango Jicama Salad with Vinaigrette
Praline Puff and
Yummy's Churros con Coco Cookie Butter
Will share the Recipes soon!!!
