4 MUST-EAT DISHES at #LocavorePH

12:42:00 AM

As promised, here's my take on Locavore Kitchen & Drinks I enjoyed 2 weeks ago...

We intended to have an alfresco dinner but it was so crowded and people tend to hang out for a while; we ended up getting seats inside and it wasn't too bad at all.

Behold! Following photos are so tempting...

Part of "Pampagana at Ensalada" or Appetizers is the Singkamas, Manga at Bagoong - served with Bagoong / Patis - Asukal / Chili Smoked Rock Salt / Pickled Organic Cucumber and Onion
P180

Mango is my favorite seasonal fruit, I want crisp slices dip into rock salt at times...

Locavore's shrimp paste (Bagoong) is a little sweet, sauce-like consistency with a natural taste (over those that I tasted straight from the bottle); imagine eating mango on stick, dip into the fish sauce then paste, seasoned with chili flakes... Aaawww, beer please :P
This by the way made me smile cause I never eat the center part!

We decided to eat at about 10 in the evening for I wasn't in the mood yet when I get to the place. Think I am hungry then, thankfully the service was surprisingly fast and food served in less time - AMAZING!

Alcohol helps the person to crave food, you agree? Lol.

Then here comes FOOD...

If you fancy chicken marinated in sweet tangy sauce, then consider to get Mac's Boneless Fried Chicken (P240) when you dine. I'd say this menu can impress kids, like mine - 4 and 8 years old

Here's my TOP 4:

Sugpo Con Mayonesa P650
Boneless Lechon Belly P550
Sizzling Sinigang P530
Lechon & Oyster Sisig P400

Obviously perfect for (2) or ONE, if you're Prawn freak...
Made from Jumbo Black Prawns - 4 to 5 pieces per order, depending on size, cooked with Aligue, Garlic, Butter and Mayonnaise
Please don't miss this one when in LocavorePH and will await your feedback :) SO GOOD, even the herbs seasoned on top!

If days make you crave for Cebu Lechon, go to Locavore
The meat is so soft, tasty inside and out with crispy skin, served with Pinakurat / Bagoong Dipping Sauce, Onion and Cucumber

I am personally a huge fan of Beef Sinigang hence this is one Filipino dish I can always put up with, regardless its Dinner, Lunch and anywhere... The beef will be salty without rice... Fyi

If you are on a strict diet and think you want to pig out a little guilt-free then get their steamed Organic Brown Rice available for only P70/order

First off, I don't eat Oysters BUT I forgot the truth about it...
No fishy smell and the feeling / taste was like munching on Isaw (if you know how delicious and addictive a toasted pork Isaw is)
Will order this again soon and try to ask for extra sauce...

They don't have Smoothies on the Menu, only Juices - Orange, Pineapple, Apple, Kalamansi ^ and Dalandan but I've asked and was granted... :)
Freshly made and I LOVE IT! Not too sweet, nor sour and the crashed ice was so fine and thin.

Congratulations #LocavorePH and Chef Mikel

Good luck and stay strong so you can support more farmers in the Philippines. Will go back to try Joe's Brew! ;)

Thanks again for having us Locavore! I took this photo though... ;)
