If you live near Taal, Batangas, I am so sure you are fan of their famous pork tapa and salty longganisa... They have been in the business for years. When I was a kid, this is my favorite "baon" (packed lunch) in school. I can still remember the days... :) The market is just right across the school I attended until 4th grade (Our Lady of Caysasay Academy). This started in less than a hundred per kilo and now saleable at P240.00/kilo -

Ready to cook...
They say this is a good alternative if you are starting/learning how to cook. :) You may opt to cut the meat into bite-size pieces, strips or slice the whole portion into medium pieces, fry over medium heat, 5-10 minutes depending on the thickness then drain on paper towels.
Perfect with fried rice & egg! :)
Also, if you prefer salty longganisa over the sweet ones, you will like their version - marinated in garlic, soy sauce and flavorings...
Proud to be a Batangueña!
